Where Fun Meets Professionalism
Captain Brice Barney has a 100 Ton Captains license and tons of local knowledge of Southern California’s local offshore and inshore fisheries! Tons of experience! He will get you involved in your trips and teach you a thing or two if you are willing to learn! He can take you offshore to chase tuna and search for kelp paddies, hit the local islands or even inshore for a shorter day. We also offer Kite fishing trips, bay fishing, Lobster trips, Sword trips (seasonal)

The Carpe Diem is a fishing machine! “Size The Day”
The boat is a 2020 Defiance 220 Admiral. This pilot house boat with top of the line navigation and fishing electronics! With safety being a top priority, it has a radar system to help assist when visibility is difficult. Built in live well for bait and plenty of fish boxes to store fish out of the way.
This vessel can do up to 30 knots fully loaded and cuts time getting out to the fishing grounds! No need for longer trips to get on the fish! The Carpe Diem is built to get the job done! Fish all day and home for dinner with your catch!
